Targeting - Who's your target? The Internet is made up of
hundreds of millions of people and something like 54 million web sites
right now so it's vital you know who are you looking for online! (On the web is it's easy to find your prospects once you
know who you are looking for...)
Objective - What do you want your site to accomplish? Do you
want an online brochure to to provide information about your business? Do
you want to leverage the web to improve customer service and convenience?
Do you want to generate leads? Do you want to close sales? You must
be clear on your objective and place a laser focus on it.
Research - What's the perfect domain name for your business?
Are all the good names taken? Absolutely NOT! The MOST
important part of your website will be your domain name, a great domain
name will bring you loads of free targeted traffic (if
that's what you desire) the wrong domain name can make your efforts
online much more difficult.
Copywriting - Just like all marketing the words you use will make or break your
efforts online, that's why it pays to use a skilled copywriter to craft
your message. I have personally created marketing messages that were
distributed to millions of prospects both online and offline.
Graphics - Again, I act as your in-house art director and guide
my graphics team in creating the unique look and feel to meet your online
objectives. Stock photography can be used or we can help you find a
photographer in your area if necessary. A picture is worth a thousand
words applies online too!
Marketing - The Internet is great for research and something
like 80% of the people online use a search engine daily to find what they
need while they are on the web. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a huge
industry right now.
Through my years online and
developing sites, I have learned several tricks of the trade that I apply
daily online to consistently achieve high rankings for my
Positive News site. Several of
my client web sites have also had very positive results because SEO is
designed into their web site from day one.
