Scott Sargent: The Truth Will Set You Free!

Scott Sargeant: The Truth Will Set You Free

…for the last 18 years I’ve been living a lie, and I’ve been lying to you!

Some of you know that I had a tragic accident 18 years ago that left me paralyzed
from the neck down. What most of you don’t know is the truth that my ‘accident’
wasn’t an accident.

Please take 8 minutes to watch my TEDx talk to hear the truth of my story.

If you find it to be inspiring and valuable, please share it for others to
benefit from…

Face Your Dragon Podcast

I’ve got so many amazing friends. I am always grateful for how they teach me, guide me and allow me to share their best stuff with you. Today’s share is from my good buddy Brad Axelrad, who is the founder and Creator of “Face Your Dragon” podcast, website and coaching program.

Now I try to listen to “all’ of my friends videos, podcast and support them always but it’s almost impossible to keep up however when I first heard the description of what Jason went through – well I was hooked. Just click here to listen in now.

This is no joke…

Are you taking responsibility for your life?

For your happiness?

For your health?

For your weight?

If there’s something negative about you or your experiences, it’s more convenient to blame circumstances that are seemingly beyond your control.

A good story might grant you a temporary hall pass for your actions or lack thereof. But the true purpose in smoke and mirrors is the diversion from accountability.

…and not having to tackle a reality, possibly deeply rooted in pain.
How do you cope with the dis-ease and stress of your quieting past wounds?
Do you crutch on gluttonous eating habits and alcohol?
Does it manifest in anger and rage toward others or yourself?

Whether you cash your own reality check or life cashes it for you, one thing is certain — you’ll always be stuck with the truth.

It takes great courage to stand up and Face Your Dragons! I say “Be More Courageous” – and just give a listen in. I am sure you will take away something good that will serve you, I did.

If you’ve ever been frustrated in any area of your life, I encourage you to listen to this conversation between Brad and Jason it could help you or someone you love!

Driving Miss Norma

91-year-old who inspired thousands by skipping chemotherapy to go on end of life road trip has passed to life after life and we thank her for sharing her journey!

‘Over these past 12 months, all of us have learned so much about living, caring, loving and embracing the present moment’

Driving Miss Norma

Instead of undergoing cancer treatment she decided to take a road trip across the United States

Norma Jean Bauerschmidt’s travels have been followed by more than 400,000 people on the Facebook page “Driving Miss Norma”, which posted pictures and accounts of her journey.

Ms Bauerschmidt’s daughter-in-law Ramie, who set up the Facebook page, wrote that Ms Bauerschmidt had decided to take the trip last year after being diagnosed with uterine cancer and told by her doctor that surgery, radiation and chemotherapy were unlikely to treat the illness

“We found ourselves sitting in an OB/GYN office talking about treatment options,” a post read. “You know the drill: surgery, then radiation and chemo in some order. When the doctor was finished he asked her how she would like to proceed.

“A tiny woman at 101 pounds and under five-feet tall, an exhausted Norma looked the young doctor dead in the eye and with the strongest voice she could muster, said, ‘I’m 90-years-old, I’m hitting the road.'”

Ms Bauerschmidt set off from Michigan with her son Tim, daughter-in-law and their dog Ringo on 24 August 2015.

A post marking a year on the road said: “We have driven the RV nearly 13,000 miles and slept in over 75 different locations in 32 states.

“Miss Norma has experienced more ‘firsts’ than we can count. Big things, like riding in a hot air balloon or on a horse, to little things like getting a pedicure or having her first taste of key lime pie, oysters and fried green tomatoes. She has had her hair done by ten different stylists and has crossed the time zones 9 times (I think.)

“Over these past 12 months, all of us have learned so much about living, caring, loving and embracing the present moment. No matter where we are, when asked where her favorite spot has been on this trip, Norma now says, ‘Right here!’ We have also learned so much about the human spirit and the beauty of people from all over the world.”

Ms Bauerschmidt began hospice care in the town of Friday Harbour, San Juan Island, Washington – her final stop – in August when her health began to deteriorate.

The San Juan County Coroner Randall Gaylord confirmed Ms Bauerschmidt died on Friday morning.

The Meaning – Jim Carrey

The Meaning by Jim Carrey.

I found this beautiful and inspiring. Jim Carrey is not only an amazing talent but an example of what is possible for each of us. You’re gig might not be movies or comedy but within there is something so unique that you are the only one of it in the entire world.

In this short video he share’s his journey, and lays it out not for bragging rights or ego but show what is possible when you find the right meaning.

Did you know at one point he wrote himself a check for $10 million dollars for “acting services rendered” and he dated it 5 years in the future and then three years later got paid $10 million dollars for the movie “Dumb and Dumber” (Not my favorite movie but still funny).
