Face Your Dragon Podcast

I’ve got so many amazing friends. I am always grateful for how they teach me, guide me and allow me to share their best stuff with you. Today’s share is from my good buddy Brad Axelrad, who is the founder and Creator of “Face Your Dragon” podcast, website and coaching program.

Now I try to listen to “all’ of my friends videos, podcast and support them always but it’s almost impossible to keep up however when I first heard the description of what Jason went through – well I was hooked. Just click here to listen in now.

This is no joke…

Are you taking responsibility for your life?

For your happiness?

For your health?

For your weight?

If there’s something negative about you or your experiences, it’s more convenient to blame circumstances that are seemingly beyond your control.

A good story might grant you a temporary hall pass for your actions or lack thereof. But the true purpose in smoke and mirrors is the diversion from accountability.

…and not having to tackle a reality, possibly deeply rooted in pain.
How do you cope with the dis-ease and stress of your quieting past wounds?
Do you crutch on gluttonous eating habits and alcohol?
Does it manifest in anger and rage toward others or yourself?

Whether you cash your own reality check or life cashes it for you, one thing is certain — you’ll always be stuck with the truth.

It takes great courage to stand up and Face Your Dragons! I say “Be More Courageous” – and just give a listen in. I am sure you will take away something good that will serve you, I did.

If you’ve ever been frustrated in any area of your life, I encourage you to listen to this conversation between Brad and Jason it could help you or someone you love!

Eric & Peety

Eric & Peety (from Humane Society Silicon Valley)

Eric weighed over 300 pounds, had type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and his doctor told him he would be dead in 5 years unless he changed. They suggested a dog. Eric went to the Humane Society Silicon Valley and said he wanted an obese, middle-aged dog, so they would have something in common. What happened next transformed their lives.

Happy New Year, Happy New You!

I want to wish everyone a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year! Did you know that only 8% of people stick to their resolutions each year? I stopped making New Year’s resolutions a few years ago because I kept failing like the 92% to stick with them. I still set goals but it’s an ongoing process that I do all year long, instead of once a year thing.

What I have found works best for me is to set short term goals that support my overall life vision and mission instead. Try it this year…also I created a video a couple years ago on Goal Setting that you might find helpful. Happy New YOU! 😉

Best advice I ever got: Get a coach!

Best advice I ever got: Get a coach!
–Eric Schmidt, Chairman of Google

“Every famous athlete, every famous performer has somebody who is a coach. Somebody who can watch what they are doing and say “Is that what you really meant? Did you really do that?” Give them perspective. One thing that people are never good at is seeing themselves as others see them. A coach really-really helps.”

Joe knows…

Joe obviously knows…

Here’s a little note from  Joe…

My name is Joe Weaver and I know how hard it is to keep an exercise program going. I have over 40 years experience falling off the wagon and becoming a workout drop-out. And it doesn’t get easier as you get older.

After years of struggle I discovered a system that completely changed my workout experience and let me get ripped for the first time in my life (see the video above).

I began using three simple, but effective, techniques and instead of exercise being a boring chore, it became fun and refreshing. Something I looked forward to each day. In other words, exercise finally became sustainable.
